Man alive, this is a fantastic book! Despite being non-fiction, it is riotous, rollicking, interesting, entertaining, informative, educational, inspiring and humbling. McDougall knows how to tell a story. He adds just enough texture, fleshes out his (hilarious, wacky) characters and provides tons of really compelling and touching background and sideways meandering that is fun but always pertinent and related. This book was a blast to read and seriously the best I've read in a long long time.
