Well researched and well written book about Jefferson and his life at Monticello, especially how he treated his daughters and his expectations of them and then what happened to his beloved estate after his death and before it became a national landmark and UNESCO world heritage treasure. Very interesting read and gives additional insight into the complex man Thomas Jefferson was.
