A quick, interesting and informative read. Compared to other Lincoln books, it's fairly weak in terms of research and argument. However, it has some very interesting anecdotes and stories, and its tone and style are suited to such a heavy topic. It also paints a detailed enough picture of Booth and his twisted mania.
