WOW! That one word pretty much sums up how I feel about The Return Man. I would never guess this to be the author's first book. With this work he gives you so much more than just your average zombie novel. I like the fact that the story takes place in California and Arizona. Being from the west coast I knew all the locations. I also enjoyed the mystery/spy aspect to this story. There was plenty of action to go around and not just from the zombies. I highly recommend this to anyone who loves not just a good zombie novel but a good thriller too.

Now I can only hope for a sequel!!!!
