I thought the story was a little boring and slow. The politics, especially the interactions between Demosthenes and Locke, were way over my head.

Dave Callister If you thought it was just okay, you will likely not enjoy the others in the series. Ender's Game is definitely the pinnacle.

Yeah, that's what I've heard. I'll still try the second book, though, just to see.
