bookshelves: gave-up
Read in August, 2008

I gave up on this book after reading the first section. I'm very interested in the lives of women in Iran and how they secretly rebel against the extreme restrictions they live under, but this was simply not very interesting. It had no structure to it. I kept waiting for it to kick in and start telling me about how this reading group had impacted these women's lives, but it never did, just kept rambling around.
