really liked it

This book was a book that i thought i would not enjoy reading. I was often confused because so many characters in the books are connected to another one way or another. However, this book was incredibly interesting. This book was primarily about one character (Sula) and the affect that she had on the people around her. She comes from upbringings in which she lacks a relationship with her mother. She then grows up to be a woman that is looked down upon by everyone. She is alone because no one accepts her for who she is. The one person that cares for Sula ,Nel, ends up leaving her because Sula has an affair with her husband. Sula has always attracted negativity and no good things have ever came to her. She watches as her mother dies by burning to death and does nothing. She does not express any of her emotions and she is displayed as being a strong woman disregarding her flaws. She is empty, Sula has never had someone to tell her that they love her, or that she was beautiful. Only when Sula dies does everyone realize the true value of who she was and what she brought to the Bottom.
