I like this book even though many of Pollan's opinions on science are preached as fact. At the beginning of the book, he does give a disclaimer that he is neither a scientist or a nutritionist so I am willing to overlook his misses on science. That being said he does an excellent job of using common sense with some data to move more people to eat healthy food. Pollan's mantra is to eat mostly plants, organic or from a farmers market. Including some 100% Grass fed meats. Avoid processed foods and foods with a laundry list of ingredients. I read the book on 2 airplane flights, so it is a quick worthwhile read.
