it was ok
bookshelves: put-down
Read in April, 2012

I need to make a shelf just for books I didn't finish.

I got about 50 pages into this book and had to put it down. It sounded like it was going to be so great, and then I couldn't even finish it.

This book is told from the point of views of Sara, a brainiac looking for love, and Tobey, a guitar-playing guy looking for love. The parts that I read, I really liked her part and HATED his part. Why? Because all he could think about was sex! And he and his friends swore up and down the wall. I tried to put up with it, but at some point it got to be too much. I asked myself if I would rather put it down and not finish the story, or keep reading and subject myself to that kind of language and subject, and I decided to put it down.

I have another Susane Colasanti book on my "to-read" list; I sincerely hope I'm able to read the entirety of that book!
