I take my star reviews pretty literally...I always feel bad marking something 2 stars, but "it was ok" kinda sums this one up for me. I liked the idea of this story, but it just spent way too long treading water, only to reach a climax that just seems kind of silly. The writing also suffered from some bizarre descriptions that were just senseless and didn't work.

Spoiler alert....

We watch the main character, who is deceased, basically haunt her family for years, and is unable to really make contact or do much to lead them to her killer, then all of a sudden, years later, she somehow manages to jump into the body of one of her friends for a few hours. And in that time manages to have sex (a curiously high priority for someone who died after being raped) but fails to tell anyone, while she's able to, who killed her or where her body is. Even though she snaps into the friend's body AT THE SITE her own body was dumped. I guess at that point we are supposed to believe she's over it and that it doesn't matter, but she never really has a revelation of forgiveness, and she never stops hovering over her living relatives.

I just kept expecting it to go somewhere, and to see the killer get his just deserts and nothing ever happened.
