Maybe this is a bunch of whooy, but it is worth a try to get rid of the pain. I'm o and I know that wheat makes me hurt as does oats and diary...so now just to bite the bullet and cut them out of my diet for good. Going out to eat is less fun, but I do get to eat lots of great salads....no breads....that is tough....no peanut butter another tough one. Oh well I will put on my big girl pants and eat this way for 12 weeks and see what happens. If I'm pain free then I'll keep it up. I read this to go along with the arthritis book and they are pretty close the same except some of the foods are more beneficial if you have arthritis than others. I'll let you know in 12 weeks how I feel.
