Janie is an average girl with a loving family. Her life is great, until she looks at the milk carton at school and sees a picture of herself as a missing person. This means that unless it is a mistake the life Janie knows is a lie. Janie wants to find out who she was in order to find out who she was and how she got to her life now.
The story was very suspenseful. While certain aspects of the plot could be predicted, it still had a feeling of uncertainty which helped the reader relate to the main characters. The characters were interesting and realistic which help the reader to relate to the story.
