It’s 1999, the internet is new. Lincoln works in the IT department at a newspaper, monitoring misuse of the email system. Several messages between two friends, Beth and Jennifer are flagged up, but rather than sending out a warning as he should, Lincoln finds himself drawn into the correspondence between the two friends, and before long finds himself falling for one of them.
This causes a little difficulty as he feels terribly guilty about what’s he done, and uncomfortable with feeling that he knows Beth really well, when in reality they’ve never met.

Not a bad read. I picked it up for some light relief between some really long books (the Song Of Ice and Fire series and IT by Stephen King). I wanted a change and that was what this was. Quite enjoyable.
