This is a cute story about a young girl who discovers the hidden talent of a once famous man. Very determined the young girl practices her tight rope skills until the man agrees to teach her to become better. Through team work the man and young girl In this story there is something that seams magical to me about each illustration. The characters are not drawn with great detail however their clothes and hair styles suggest that they are from a time period where people raved over good entertainment. The colors are soft but often greatly contrast one another so that the important pieces “pop”. The floor and walls of the scenes seem to be the most put together however they do not take away from what the pictures are trying to show. The pictures parallel the text and give visual idea of what the text is hoping to exemplify.
