I really liked this book. I love the Tudor period so I wanted to read about the Plantagnets. I loved Elizabeth Woodville. I think she was a good queen and tried to do right by her husband, children and family. I loved how she and Edward IV were in love. It is just nice to hear about in times of arranged marriages.

I liked the mythology lore of Melusia. I think Elizabeth Woodville was very lucky not to get caught as a witch even though there were suspicions. I think she relied too much on magic. I don't think she followed the Wiccan Way that modern witches follow. Overall, I enjoyed her character and the book and can't wait to read the next one.

I loved her brother Anthony. I thought he fit the stereotype of what a man of court was-handsome, chivalrous, and romantic. I was sadden to read that he came to untimely end.
