Claire is a skittish high school girl entrusted with writing her school newspaper's advice column, while crushing on a popular (read -- dimwitted) athlete named J.D. while fending off/ ignoring/ being oblivious to the affections of her sensitive souled best guy friend, Will. Also entangled in all this is her galpal Lottie, and Will's geeky, snarky, blog writing buddy Bennet (zero points if you can guess how all this will pair out.)

Written entirely in tweets, e-mails, blogs, e-mails, and Claire's column, this book is an enervating, navel-gazing, witless mess lacking even the smallest amount of insight or grace. The story is entirely predictable, and the writing style is a terrible example for young readers, relying as it must on idiotic internet speak. Avoid.
