Read this for bookclub. It was a great book. Maybe not action-packed but such an interesting glimpse into another time and place. In this case, Brooklyn, around 1915 or so. I'd argue that it's less about a tree and more about an amazing family of women who all get things done their own way. I really enjoyed it.
