Will make an interesting book discussion. The book had several "no way" and "ah ha" moments and I hope that it will help change the way American History textbooks are written and how the subject is taught.

My favorite things I learned: the Helen Keller was a socialist in her latter years and did significant work in human rights activism, yet no text book ever mentions this. I had no clue who John Brown was before reading this. My entire K-12 education never got past World War II. I had no idea was the Korean War was about. The more highly educated a person was, the more likely they were to say that the Vietnam War was justified and that we should stay in the war.
