A great ending to a series I have really come to enjoy. Of course there is lots of action, a little bit of romance, and some comedy, as well as new characters and new places the Leviathan travels to. Deryn's secret is revealed to some, the war nears the end, and new futures are planned. Once again the alternate history, including some interesting pages involving the Mexican Revolution and Pancho Villa, added a very interesting element to the story. It would be fantastic if Scott Westerfeld wrote yet another book, but I won't be holding my breath (it is a trilogy, after all).
