I love when you find a book that suits your immediate situation. I just had my first night ever away from my partner and toddler in two and a half years, so I was primed for the 'what if' situation presented in this story.

With any 'going back in time' plot, you're going to have unexplained gaps or assumed leaps of faith, but I liked that this book focused more on relationships.

It was fairly realistic emotion wise and I liked the way the main character explored her feelings in a way where nothing was completely black and white. It definitely kept me guessing through most of it.

I read this very quickly, in just two sittings - and I was drawn in the whole time.

The only thing I wish is that the author spent a bit more time on the ending! She alludes to a few things that are never properly explained, but perhaps this was done to show the main character's point of view.
