I read this book because a family member lent it to me, knowing I enjoy historical fiction and non-fiction. I wasn't extremely excited because of its author, Bill O'Reilly, and that it has been found to have several factual errors. But I read it anyway. The story was interesting and it was fairly fast-paced, which compensated for Mr. O'Reilly's unremarkable writing. All in all, it wasn't a wasted read, but definitely not wonderful and riveting, either.
