I just learned the Doc Holliday was born with a cleft palate.

I thought this book was amazing. That being said it was a little long and it went from story to fact occasionally at the end of a chapter.
That being said...
if you have ever had ANY interest in Doc Holliday, you will enjoy this book. Russell uses as much factual information as possible in regards to Doc, The Earps, dentistry, horses, cards, you name it. Oh, all the different languages in the story!

I have always loved the character Doc Holliday portrayed by Val Kilmer in Tombstone. Many have said that he really got Doc's personality down! "I'm your Huckleberry!"
Anyway, this book is so interesting. I went bakc and forth to wiki a couple times, I just think this is great. It might be a little long for some of you, but it is written in such a way that you will blast thru it!
Doc Holiday was a dentist! Wyatt Earp was missing some teeth and he built a bridge for the gap! So interesting.

Again, I think anyone who picks up this book will like it!
Maybe not LOVE it like I did, but close!!
