I listened to this as an audiobook. It was a pretty standard Grisham novel - alternating story lines all tied to the main plot, brilliant lawyer hero, plot occasionally bogged down by the author's op-eds against the death penalty. The suspense was good (even though I cheated and checked out the ending first, a bad habit of mine . . . ) and the characters were varied and interesting.
