I come back to this book every time I need to happy break - a push to chill out. I've lost count how many times I've read it, and it always puts me in a good mood. Berry Knudsen is trying to get her life back on track. She has a plan: finish school, work at her pizza place, get married, etc. But life gets in the way in the form of three really adorable old ladies and Jake Sawyer, who meets Berry and has a plan of his own.

I really love Evanovich's early romance series - they're light, funny and full of great characters who have 'pip'.
