No, no, no, no, no! I wasn't ready for this book to end!

The title had caught my eye, and I thought the summary was really intriguing, but at the same time, I was worried because it sounded similar (though maybe more of the opposite) of The Juliet Spell, which was one that really ended up disappointing me. I am happy to announce this book didn't do that to me.

Some may be disappointed that this book wasn't really Shakespearean and wasn't littered with more references to his work. Some may be angry about Mingle's fictionalization of history. Some may even say this book was cheesy or cliche. I don't care, because I really liked it. Yes, the book is predictable because I already guessed how it was going to end pretty much as soon as it started.

I've always been a sucker for romantic comedies, and I admit, this book made me feel really girly because I didn't care for the mystery as much as the romance, but the relationship had me sucked in, and I did find myself gasping a few times and even shed a tear or two when it broke my heart.

And about the end... (view spoiler)[I just KNOW that the book could not have ended any other way, but I'm just so sad! And I really wished that they had done it. LOL. Sigh, such a bittersweet end. (hide spoiler)]
