it was amazing
bookshelves: mystery-thriller, my-reviews

I liked this even more than Tomato Redwhich I read a while back. The male descendants of the Appalachian moonshiners are now cooking meth. It's essentially the same profession updated with similar hazards. It's always been the women who kept things going. The teen protagonist, Ree, broke the mold for gutsiness. Now I really want to see the movie.

Ruby Hollyberry I have been totally wanting to read it and to see the movie. Haven't come across either one yet, but I will keep looking or eventually resort to ordering.

Ann I am going to have to find the movie too. $5.99 on Amazon. May see if the library has it
