In the 'Era of the Warring States', Emperor Moosunje has gotten his hands on a powerful sword, known as the PaChun. The PaChun absorbs the blood of humans and gives its wielder amazing power rival only to the power of its counterpart - the PaSa, which gains its power from absorbing the souls of demons....

Having defeated the assassins sent after Jaryoon, King of Hahyun, Rey Yan and his sister Syao Lin, join the pacifist king on his journey to his capital. However their journey takes them past a village haunted by a soul-eating demon tree. While safety suggests they take the long way around, Jaryoon's sense of justice and Rey's eagerness to fight (or is it the beguiling call of the cursed PaSa sword?) lead the trio into danger once more...
