This had a lot of insights that were interesting to read about. I liked this movie companion better than the Twilight one. Knowing Suzanne Collins wrote the screenplay made me forgive some of the missing elements in the movie. I also liked that the tributes were no names who just really loved the books. Before I read this book I told my husband that I thought the Seam was probably a real location of an abandoned mine town and my assumptions were correct. I thought that was neat. They mentioned several times that they wanted to stay with the integrity of the book, which was a relief. I liked the description of the Capitol people's looks and costumes. Knowing they had to create 400 costumes boggles my mind. There is so much that goes into film that we would never think of. (other examples include the actors' change of diet, location scouting, minute prop details, collaborations with lay people)
