Set in the Appalachian mountains in the early 1900s, this retelling of the beloved fairytale Snow White combines elements both old and new.
Summer and her father are grieving the loss of their mother and wife when a strange woman with strange powers enters their lives. Soon, Summer's life is a nightmare that she cannot escape from.
Comparable to other modern renditions of fairytales such as Ella Enchanted and Beastly. Also a coming of age story, especially applicable to young tween girls. --Tiffany J.
