Love in a Nutshell is cute and light, with some very witty dialogue thrown in.The pacing was a little uneven, with no real development to the supposed mystery/suspense plot. We know it's there, but the book isn't really about that. I was a little surprised by the low steam factor of this book. It's G or maybe a slight PG. Mainly this is a sweet, humorous love story that is good but not great. It's on par with Evanovich's early romances for the most part, although not as good as a few of those early titles.

Recommended if you're looking for a low-stress afternoon's reading, something that will make you smile, but will probably be forgotten quickly.
