A teen romance that addresses loss and grieving and letting go. Ava thought she would spend her whole life with Jackson. When he dies in a freak accident, her life is turned upside down. She dared him to jump off the cliff at Heaven's Hideaway and into the water below, which leads to Jackson's death and Ava's guilt. After the funeral, Ava ignores attempts from her friends to help and locks herself up into her house where she is sure that he has returned as a ghost to be with her. She sees his reflection in the mirror, smells his cologne, hears songs they used to like and she thinks he is there with her. At first she is so happy that he is there, but later as she starts to think maybe she should move on with her life, his presence angers her. What can she do to get rid of her guilt and move on with her life?
