Brooding, thrilling, darkling exciting and romantic. That is how I would describe Amanda Stevens lastest masterpiece, ‘The Kingdom’. I don’t usually go for a dark, scary kind of fiction, but I find this book pretty satisfying and it leaves me wanting more by the time I reach the last page of the book. I wondered what will happen next and I have to admit, this book is really exhilirating.

One word of caution. This book is not for the faint hearted. If you’re a scaredy cat, please, do read this book during the day where not many things could really freak you out. This book, is very vivid, so read at your own risk.

I rate this book 4 out of 5 stars. I received an ARC of this book from Harlequin via Netgalley. I was not required to write a positive review for this book.
