** spoiler alert ** She writes well. However, it was moving. An older lady pregnant lady, having life issues, e.g., cheating husband, crazy parents, and a mugging with unsympathetic friends, well, its not me. Read it pretty quickly, but I simply didn't identify with the main character.

Her journey in the Heartburn was interesting, but not moving. I did finish it which says something. Would I recommend it, sure. However, not to a middle-aged male reader that enjoys sci fi/ fantasy and john grisham.

Still, her Odyssey was interesting and she tells it well.
