The Ring of Fire captivated me with its cover in the Library. It is a great book about four kids whose destinies are to save the world. They overcome deadly criminals and bloody massacres, but in the end everything falls into place."It takes the mind of two women to make up for a man's," said the protagonist's aunt. The girl's father manages a hotel, and he does a terrible job most of the time. So, Elletra, the protagonist, has a lot on her shoulders. I like this quote because it portrays that some kids have to act like grown ups. The author's perspective changes between the four kids and a criminal who becomes a friend to them. It's also humorous. I would recommend this book who people who like fantasy stories, such as the Percy Jackson series. It has a variety of elements used, and that's what makes it interesting.
