Enjoyable read. I bought it on a lark, as it was on sale and I only had a few dollars left on my B&N gift card. I don't regret it. While not exactly a page-turner (I read it over several months, and often went weekds without picking it back up), it was very easy to fall back into the story. The dark humor was effective, and the characters were compelling. Not sure if the end-notes are used in the print copy (and I don't think they would be nearly as effective if they were), but they worked well in the ebook edition.

Minor quibbles: there were a few foreign language words did not translate in my Nook reader, and the ending a rather abrupt. But on the latter, I hear tell there might be more Peter Brown coming. Will be interesting to see where Bazell takes him from here.
