I thought i'd have less trouble reading this than I did but it turns out that I'm more middle class in my thinking than I thought. Provocative and engaging after all these years it's odd to read someone explaining exactly why society is suffering today who never experienced chavs, neds or bogans. The characters stand off the page and the epilogue is fascinating in and of itself. Well worth the read.
