it was amazing

The Halloween Tarot is a delightful mix of such traditional Old Year's Night fare as Dracula, Frankenstein’s Monster, the Wolfman, and the Mummy. Created by Kipling West, this is a charming deck with Smith-Waite symbolism depicted on every card and of course, a decidedly Halloween theme.

West has managed to temper the imagery with a palette of bright tones, and a distinct absence of shadow. Combined with her near satiric approach to characterization this deck is really more fun than scary. It comes with a companion book written by Karin Lee, with illustrations by the deck's creator. The book offers the divinatory and reverse meanings and explains the artist's choices of all the spooky subjects and elements depicted on the cards.

It is evident that West is passionate in her approach and should be quite proud of her hard work and effort. This is a Tarot deck, through and through, and I highly recommend it. The book, which also contains a lot of interesting and fun information about Halloween, just makes this an even better acquisition.
