it was amazing

This book had quite a unique premise, as well as a very unreliable yet fascinating narrator. This is a story of a very odd menage a trois. A professor decides to take a sabbatical, for reasons that become clearer as the story progresses, and write out of an old office building where he is renting space. Because the walls are so thin, he eventually realizes that there is a therapy session going on in the room next to his and ultimately becomes obsessed with "the patient (whose name we never learn) and her doctor as well. He manages to manipulate events outside of the office that eventually have a profound effect on the patient. This is a psychological thriller that had me on the edge of my seat but also brought me very deep within an insane mind...perhaps. Really great read!
