it was amazing
Read from March 29 to September 29, 2012

This book took me a while to read, not because it was difficult reading, nor were the concepts particularly challenging. It was due to s severe lack of time, really. But I'm grateful for that because the concepts, though powerful, are deceivingly simple and easy to take as obvious. However, reading the book over time, I found a lot of little things in my daily work and perceptions that I had not thought to apply the principles to.

I've ready managements fad, and other business books in the past (Something about Cheese?), so I have to say that I fully appreciated the meticulous research and rigor that was such a part of this book. The authors clearly went into the study with ideas, but executed the study with little bias and found that many of their ideas were flat wrong, challenged, or simple incomplete.

The value of this book is unknowable. I will probably read it many times throughout my career.
