Loving (Bailey Flanigan #4)
by Karen Kingsbury
by Karen Kingsbury
** spoiler alert **
I have loved the conclusions of each Karen Kingsbury series that I've read. This was my least favorite of them all.
SPOILERS
*********************
Brandon worked hard and won Bailey's heart. This is realistic and I didn't have a problem with them getting married. I love Cody and Andi ending up together. I cheered aloud when during their scenes in the book. What bothered me is how the author treated Cody & Bailey's relationship. It was unsatisfying and painful. For example: During the wedding it seemed like Bailey felt guilty for even looking at Cody, which isn't healthy at all. Bailey turned to Cody as a last result again and again which felt forced. The resolution of Cody's feelings about Bailey never seemed to fully resolve either.
All in all it wasn't the end result that I disliked in this book, but the road taken to get there.
