Kerry's the type of girl who just wants to to fit in and when the three top girls in school pick her to come sit with them at lunch, she's beside herself. But Kerry's always two steps behind - she doesn't know what's going on and tries even harder to fit in with them, showing them that she doesn't really belong. Then one day, a car crash takes the lives of the three girls leaving Kerry alone and unsure of herself. Until she gets a text from Tanya...who is supposed to be dead.

This was a mind-twisting tale of cruelty, power, and the struggle to define one's self. The 'mean girls' are delectably cruel and Kerry is the shy shrinking violet who longs for nothing else than to be important - to belong - to them. Don't read this one too quick or you might miss some details that you'll need to file away for later. It reminds me a bit of 'Stir of Echoes' meets 'Mean Girls' meets 'Jawbreaker'. Enjoy at your own risk!
