Read from March 22 to 23, 2012

A cleverly-written peek into the brain of the young, love-struck male. This story brought back all the frustration, tears, and excitement of high school romance. I was amazed at the author's authentic voice as she writes from such a masculine viewpoint. I completely forgot this was a woman writer. Although there are a few curse words, I didn't think the language was excessive, and in fact, passed the book to my 16-year-old daughter to read. (Which opened up a whole new dialogue for us - an unexpected bonus!) My actual rating is 4.5, which obviously has to fall to a four, but I'm definitely I'm recommending the book to my friends.
