this book is tells 2 stories, in alternating chapters, of a boy stolen by changelings and the changeling that takes his place. i think the idea is really good but there was something that just seemed lacking. a popular gripe of mine is that i have a hard time getting into books when the main characters are not likable and that was definitely the case here. that may be akin to only liking poems that rhyme (which is also true of me) but oh well, so be it. i found the book kind of depressing and although the ending was not "depressing" per se i was still just kind oh like "oh". the end.
