This book attempted to describe where the world is going next - with depletion of basically everything - the end of an economy based on growth. Unfortunately it went back and forth between stilted and redundant stating of the obvious and frighteningly boring writing. Are there some good ideas here? Sure. But packaging them is important. Even worse, the Bruce Schneier book I'm reading (and been looking forward to) is even more annoying
