FIRST READS GIVEAWAY

This was a joy to read. Goldberg manages to entertain and inform at the same time.

As the cover "hints" at, this is a conservative book. In it, Goldberg examines and dismantled some common cliches that we are all familiar with.

It is an honest deconstruction. Goldberg explains what is meant, how it is used, and the history of the cliche. Then, using a brilliant combination of wit and logic, explains the fallacy behind the cliche's use.

I was fortunate to recieve a copy of this book through the First Reads section of Goodreads. I enjoyed this book so much that I will be purchasing other books by Goldberg and will be recommending this book to friends and family.
