God considering how late i'm in this series, what i'm going to say it's not going to be news for you, so i'm just going to comment about it.
Well first, i have to say that this book wasn't the best but it wasn't the worst in the series. Zsadist book is still my favorite and Wrath's is still the worst for me. This one is just okay.
The thing is, the good parts about this book is the BDB. The lesser parts its beyond boring and to be honest, i stil don't care about John that much. So the thing that makes the book for me are just the brothers and the main romance when i like them both(thing that didn't really happended with Wrath and Beth). The thing about this book is that the main romance didn't hook me that much.
I mean, i love Butch since the begining. But Marissa... i don't know, i just couldn't ralate to her, i don't like her type, but her change a long the book got things better. But i still couldn't feel her. It was like something was missing in their romance. Maybe there wasn't enough drama... i don't know. I just couldn't feel it.
But i got to say, V shocked me in the book. I never imagined that he was into this BDSM thing. I imagine him totally diferent. But with his dad i can understand his reasons. And god he bein into Butch was weird too. Because it's not like he looks at him with desire, so we can really say that he is gay. It just wasn't sexual. I think that he didn't want to lose someone so special to him, someone who really got him in all this three hundred years. And maybe with Marissa he fells that he's sharing Butch. And also there is all that curiosity about how is love someone.
But all in all it was still nice. I love how much Buch grow up in this series. (view spoiler)
So i'm jus5 going to give it 3 stars.
