Although I did not read "The Taker" which was the first book in the Trilogy I found that "the Reckoning was easy to follow with the background supplied from the 1st book. I plan on reading the first book and am looking forward to reading the third.
Lanore has a new life as well as a new man and is once again happy until Adair "The Taker" is released from his prision in the wall. Adair is determined to find Lanore and Jonathan who locked him up for 200 years. Lanore's life becomes hectic and unsure as she is once again on the run.
