After seeing the book cover and name, I was expecting something completely different than the story that I read and I couldnt have been more pleasantly surprised, and it just goes to show you cant judge a book by its cover.

Jesse is a bad boy from the wrong side of the tracks. He transfers to East Franklin High and is determined to leave his old life behind. He is a star quarterback and he is going to do whatever it takes to make sure he gets a college scholarship, except he has someone standing in his way Forbes Henderson and he is not going to make it easy on Jesse. Forbes will stop at nothing to make sure he keeps his starting roll as Quarterback.

Claire Deveraux is little miss perfect or so she seems to everyone, perfect family, perfect looks, perfect friends, and the perfect boyfriend in Forbes Henderson. The only person Claire isnt fooling is Jesse Boone. After a run in with Jesse Claire is intruiged by his tattoos and good looks.

Jesse sees Claire as a way to piss off Henderson, so he sets out to do just that. Until he crosses Claire the wrong way now, she is out for revenge. Jesse and Claire start out using each other for their own personal gain, but soon they realize there is more to this game revenge. Jesse and Claire find their feelings for each other are much stronger than that of revenge. Just as Jesse and Claire finally give into their feelings, it is all torn away by Jesse's past. Claire fights to hold onto Jesse and will not give up on the one guy who means more to her than anything else.

This book tugs at the heartstrings and has such an amazing ending that will make you cry and squeel with glee.
