This is a sweet story about Anna, a girl who would much rather spend her time reading than worrying about friendships with the girls in her class, which can be complicated. Although she is shy and withdraws from the fold, a classmate approaches Anna, needing her understanding and companionship while going through a tough family situation. Anna helps her friend, and learns there are many more things to learn about life than you read about in a book.
