it was amazing
bookshelves: fiction, murder-mystery
Read from March 27 to April 05, 2012

I read a lot of spy novels (probably has something to do with my shadow and unresolved issues - why else would an avowed pacifist read such books!)and this one was one of the best. For the most part all the characters in this story of a retired Israeli spy on a mission to stop an Islamic terrorist are shown in a somewhat humane perspective. I must say I wish that someone would write a story that sympathetically portrays the Isalmic side of the terrorist phenonemon - this book is not it. Even so I found that the story kept me engaged and provided me some insights into the complexity of the Islamic world in all its gradients.
